OpenAI is closing in on a funding round that could value it at more than $1 trillion. Investors from the United Arab Emirates are leading the round. The round is being positioned as an opportunistic bridge ahead of a potential IPO. OpenAI is aiming to secure signatures by the end of next week, but the final size of the round is still being determined.

1Password introduced a platform that lets AI agents authenticate to websites without accessing users' passwords directly. Agents can request credentials from a user's vault, and once approved, 1Password autofills them into the destination site while keeping the credentials hidden from the agent.
