According to OpenAI, the collaboration centers on Lesson Insights, an API-powered feature that analyzes lesson transcripts to provide learners and tutors with structured feedback on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. This capability aims to reduce administrative burdens on tutors while giving students clear visibility into their progress. The insights feed directly into Preply's self-learning exercise engine to generate personalized homework. Beyond the core product, Preply adopted ChatGPT Enterprise across its offices in New York, Kyiv, London, and Barcelona, growing weekly active usage from 60% to 95% among its more than 600 employees. Furthermore, approximately 94% of Preply engineers utilize Codex and AI coding assistants for tasks such as code generation, PR reviews, and debugging, which the company states accelerates development workflows. Preply reports strong user reception, including a 4.7 out of 5 satisfaction rating from more than 300,000 ratings and sustained engagement with Lesson Insights more than a year after adoption. The company plans to expand its AI initiatives to create deeper, continuously adapting learning experiences that track individual goals, strengths, and preferences over months of study.
